This is the coolest video you will watch today. Take a trip back to 1936 and see how Northwestern celebrated Homecoming 75 years ago. The video (with sound!) opens with a campus tour showing many buildings that remain today, followed by vintage football action of Northwestern beating Minnesota. Hopefully we’ll see more of the same at Ryan Field tomorrow! Go ‘Cats!

On May 31, 1850, nine men met in a law office above a Chicago hardware store to plan the founding of a new university. 161 years later, Northwestern is better than ever.
